However, in grain of salt news from the Daily Mail, apparently planning this wedding hasn't been completely smooth sailing! A source says that Benny told Sel that "that this is her wedding first, and their wedding second," noting that he's "ecstatic that at the end of that day she will be his bride" and "forever grateful" that Sel said yes.
But because Benny "told her that he wants her to make most of the decisions," the planning process "wasn't smooth sailing at first" and Selena's friends accused Benny of being a "bit lazy."
The insider explains that while it was a "nice gesture" that Benny encouraged Selena to "do whatever she wants for the wedding," she feels like Benny "could step up and make some decisions."
The source also notes that the pair are doing just fine (so no need to spiral), but that their friends feel the dynamic "won't change in the years to come and could end up being one of the quirks" in their marriage. That said, when it comes to the wedding specifically, it's all "smooth sailing now, because everything has been paid for and figured out."
